Confirmation

Starts in the winter with 6^th grade confirmation orientation meetings for students and parents. After orientation students do some Worship Reflection forms and service hours while having the opportunity to participate in fundraising events. In the summer students will attend confirmation camp at Good Earth Village OR attend make up sessions.

In the fall of the 7th grade year students start the weekly Wednesday confirmation classes from September to mid-May. Students continue with Worship Reflections, service hours and fundraising events. In the summer 7^th grade students attend confirmation camp at Good Earth Village again OR attend make up sessions.

In the fall of the 8th grade year weekly Wednesday classes start again and continue through mid-May. In the spring 8^th grade students will attend meetings to prepare for the 9^th grade mentor ministry year. In the summer they will attend a 9^th grade retreat with the HS Youth Director.

Starts in the fall of the 9th grade year and continues through the early fall of the following 10^th grade year. During this year 9^th grade students will work closely with their Mentor and their parents to explore their faith more deeply through mentorship, service, and working on their faith project and faith paper. In the fall of 10^th grade students will be confirmed in the Affirmation of Baptism service on Reformation Sunday.
