Pastor Linda
Pastor of Visitation
Pastor Linda is the pastor of visitation. She previously served on the pastoral staff from May 1993 to August 2007.
After growing up in west Central Minnesota, she attended the Lutheran Bible institute in Minneapolis. Trained as a parish worker, she served congregations in Worthington, Minnesota and Seattle, Washington. In 1981, she was ordained and assigned to the Southern District of Texas. She has served congregations in Fredericksburg, TX, Watertown SD, and here in Rochester at Bethel. She retired in 2007 and rejoined the staff to visit the home bound of Bethel in 2013.
In addition, she teaches two exercise classes at the YMCA, sings in Bethel choirs, loves to walk, and is involved in a multitude of other activities. Pastor Linda enjoys her visits with members who live in care centers or confined to their homes.
