Jim is the principal organist at Bethel.  He started playing at Bethel in January of 1993 with the addition of the Saturday night service.  He became the Sunday organist in June of 2010.  When he was working full time, he used to say that he liked his Saturday and Sunday job more than his Monday to Friday one.

Jim grew up in Monroe, Wisconsin, and has four siblings.  He graduated from Monroe High School, Luther College and received his master’s degree in counseling from UW-Whitewater.

Jim has been married to his wife, Cindy since 1977.  They have two children (Zachary & Sarah) and two grandchildren (Brynn & Henry).

Jim likes to read, golf and travel.  His favorite team is the Green Bay Packers.
