Antiracism Team Discussion with Sarah Ruble
February 10 6:30 - 8:00 pm | Bethel Lutheran Church (Chapel)
Please join the Bethel Antiracism team on Monday, February 10th 6:30 – 8 pm in the Chapel for a discussion with Sarah Ruble, professor at Gustavus Adolphus College, focused on the history of American religion and Christian theology.
It is helpful for Christians to consider both their own histories of racism and what their theological traditions might say about both the past and the present.
We will consider what, if anything, is distinctive about the Lutheran past with regard to race and racism as well as what the Lutheran tradition might offer as congregations pursue justice and flourishing for all. Please register here by Feb. 6th.
