Updates About Our Men's Ministry
We invite Bethel men to join Pastor Mandsager in gathering around God’s word, hearing inspiring stories, and doing occasional service projects.
We will meet in Room 115 at 6 pm, October 9th, 22nd, and 29th, and on December 10th and 17th.
Schedule:
- October 9th— About the Bible: Short Answers to Big Questions, based on the book by the same name by Terence Fretheim. (Please send an email to mandsager@bethellutheran .com by September 19th to order a copy of this book).
- October 22nd—Ray of Life service project with confirmation students: we will assemble emergency power kits for people in Ukraine.
- October 29th-- About the Bible: More Short Answers to Big Questions.
- December 10th: The Candy Bomber: as we move into Advent, we will hear Tom Brokaw narrate “Christmas From Heaven,” the story of a U.S. Air Force Pilot who dropped candy for children during the Berlin Air Lift.
- December 17th—As we approach the NCAA playoffs, we will view and discuss Lou Holtz’s film, “Do Right.”
Fellowship is a part of nearly every event as men offer support to one another. We laugh when serving a church supper and bring our families to an annual cookout. We recognize each other in a special way at worship and elsewhere. Please consider Men’s Ministry as a way to extend your own gifts.
