Bethel Bird Walk

Join us Saturday, June 14th from 8 am – 10 am for a walk at Chester Woods Park looking for birds, led by Dave Gross.

Birds are busy nesting and raising their young, and although the leaves on the trees are full, making it challenging to see them, the morning offers chances to see males singing on their territories. Dave will help us find and identify them by bird song and give helpful mnemonics for recognizing the songs of common birds of the area. We will meet on the north side of the fisherman’s parking lot at Chester Woods Park (8378 14th Hwy SE, Eyota, MN).

Bring a pair of binoculars and a good pair of walking shoes, water and bug spray. We will walk around 2 miles on easy trails. Beginners welcome. No dogs allowed. Please RSVP to dgrosszvas@gmail.com.
