 WELCA Pin Nomination

A Special Recognition

Up to eight (8) pins are given each year to women/men of Bethel who have served the congregation in various ways. Over the years, numerous women have been recognized with a pin as individuals who are living their faith and making contributions to Bethel Lutheran Church and their community. Fourteen special men have also been recognized.

Nominations need to be received by the Mission Growth Secretary by the first Monday of April. Nominations that have been approved by the Bethel Women Board will be awarded the pin at the Spring Coffee event. Nomination forms are available through the button below or on the Bethel Women bulletin board in the narthex along with the list of people who have received a WELCA pin.

Monthly Missions

Bethel Women highlight a different charity or mission project every month. These may change from year to year.

The following is a list of some of these missions: Gift of Life transplant Houses, American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, Women’s Shelter and Support Center, Running Start for School, Dorothy Day House, and Lutheran World Relief Kits (Baby Care Kits, School Kits, Personal Care Kits).

Information about each project is communicated to the congregation and all are encouraged to participate.
