Service Saturdays

February 18, 2023 3:00 - 5:00pm  |  Bethel Lutheran Church (Bethel hall)

Hey, middle & high schoolers! Looking for ways to stay involved in the church and in your community, but struggling to make it to weekly events? Join us for monthly Service Saturdays! We will be gathering the 3rd Saturday of every month to serve together. This opportunity allows us to spend time together while giving back to our community. You could even earn service hours for confirmation (if you are in 9th grade) or National Honor Society! It’s a win-win-win!

Check the news’ story that KIMT developed about ‘Service Saturdays’ here!

7th-12th grade youth plus a parent or mentor are invited to come to Bethel Saturday, February 18 from 3-5 pm for an afternoon of service! We will once again be working on creating fleece-tie blankets for our local chapter of Project Linus. No fleece donations needed, just more helping hands! No experience or skill needed to help with this project.

Service opportunities will differ from month to month so we will be able to support a number of worthy causes/organizations in the coming months and years. This program is available only to high school students and their parents at this time. Please reach out to Kelsie Watkins at watkins@bethellutheran.com for more information, or if you have ideas for places to serve!
