Pastor Norman Wahl has been the Executive Pastor at Bethel since July of 1996. He was ordained in 1979 and has served parishes in Viborg, SD, rural Alden, MN, and St. Charles, MN, as well as serving on the staff of Augsburg College in Minneapolis. He is a graduate of Augsburg College, Luther Seminary in St. Paul, and earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Luther in 1997.

Pastor Wahl's wife, Kathy, is a first grade teacher in St. Charles. They have three children: Chris, an attorney in Indianapolis, IN; Kari Solak, an accountant at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester; and Tim, a math teacher and baseball coach at Rosemount High School in Rosemount, MN. He is also the proud grandfather of Jarek and Joren Solak!

He is a dedicated sports fan (and an avid Vikings' fan) and enjoys woodworking, travel with his family, and quilting.
