Lorrie grew up on a dairy farm in Chatfield, MN. After graduation she moved to Rochester and worked at the Mayo Clinic for twenty years in a variety of departments. In 1985 she married Greg Schuchard, they have two adult children, Benjamin and Kayla. In 1997, after volunteering 20 hours a month in her children’s classrooms, she left the clinic and became the Director of Shared Ministry. Volunteering is still a large part of her families life.

Lorrie enjoys being with children, garage sales, gardening, cooking, and campfires.
