BETHEL’S ADULT MUSIC

MINISTRY

CHANCEL CHOIR

Bethel’s 60 member Chancel Choir is the premiere (original) musical group providing music during the 9:00am worship service during the first part of each month and the 10:30am service during the last part of the month and for special services. The choir occasionally sings for the Saturday evening service.

No audition is required and membership is open to ninth graders through adult. A variety of musicial styles is utilized. Music, folders and robes are provided. Sectionals and ensembles rehearse from 6:30 – 7:00pm.

Wednesday evenings, 7:00 – 8:00pm in the sanctuary.

ORCHESTRA

This 40 member orchestra provides music for worship services once a month and for special services.

The orchestra is open to all instrumentalists from ninth grade and older. No audition is required. Music, folders and stands are provided.

Wednesday evenings, 8:00 – 9:00pm in the sanctuary.

BRASS ENSEMBLE

This ensemble is comprised of six musicians that accompany hymn singing and generally play once a month.

Wednesday evenings, 5:30 – 6:30pm in the sanctuary.

HANDBELLS

There are two adult handbell choirs. The CANTABILE RINGERS consists of thirteen experienced ringers. New members are always welcome!

Thursday evenings, 7:00 – 8:00pm in the sanctuary.

The ALLELUIA RINGERS is a multi-age group with adults mentoring the medium level ringers.

Thursday evenings, 6:15 – 7:00pm in the sanctuary.
