The Welcome Team

 The goal of the Life and Growth Team is to make sure that visitors feel welcomed. We do this in variety of ways.

•   Visitors are offered a “Welcome Packet” which contain information about the many ministries at Bethel.
   
•  Once someone has visited Bethel, a procedure is in place acknowledging their visit and inviting them to come again.
   
•  Twice a year, (April and October) Life & Growth provides an opportunity to invite your friends to attend worship at Bethel.
   
•  Direction signs for the church building are provided so that visitors are able to find their way around the church.
   
•  Visitors are able to have their questions answered at the Welcome Center.
   
•  Visitor parking spots are provided.
   
•  Twice a year, (March and November) Life & Growth hosts a reception for joining new members.

 
Life and Growth cares for our members also by:

•  Providing and overseeing the delivery of holiday plants to shut-ins at
  Easter and Christmas.
   
•  Giving small gifts to attending worshipers at Easter and Christmas.
   
•  Providing Hearing Enhancement devices to those hard of hearing.
   Life and Growth provides ways for our members to get involved though Shared Ministries by:
   
•  Acknowledging that every member is a minister, endowed with special gifts. A yearly volunteer appreciation is held to celebrate the gifts you offer to share.
   
•  Providing a “Spiritual Gift Survey” in order that members may discover what their spiritual gifts are and how they can put them to use at Bethel.
  Offering weekly opportunities though the “Count Me In” form which includes many different kinds of work that can be performed in a variety of settings at flexible times.
