Beatitudes of Promise: An invitation to Lent
 

Join us on Wednesday evenings during the season of Lent as we discover how our lives can be enriched and our faith deepened by the inspirational words of Jesus from the “Sermon on the Mount” (or commonly known as the Beatitudes).

Worship is at 5:30pm and 7:00pm,
with a meal served in Bethel Hall from 5:45pm to 6:45pm.

Ash Wednesday, Feb. 6: The Promise of Heaven ("Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." - Matt. 5:3)

Wednesday Feb. 13: The Promise of Comfort ("Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." - Matt. 5:4)

Wednesday, Feb. 20: The Promise of an Inheritance ("Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the earth." - Matt. 5:5)

Wednesday, Feb. 27: The Promise of Righteousness ("Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." - Matt. 5:6)

Wednesday, March 5: The Promise of Mercy ("Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." - Matt. 5:7)

Wednesday, March 12: The Promise of Seeing God ("Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." - Matt. 5:8)
