Lorrie grew up on a diary farm in Chatfield, MN. After Graduation she moved to Rochester and worked at the Mayo Clinic for twenty years in a variety of departments. In 1985 she married Greg Schuchard, they have two teenagers, Benjamin and Kayla. In 1997, after volunteering 20 hours a month in her children’s classrooms, she left the clinic and became the Director of Shared Ministry. Volunteering is still a large part of her families life. They volunteer for Boy Scouts, Nami, Mexico mission trips, Youth team, chaperoning youth trips, and Coordinators for Bethel’s Youth Fund raising.

Lorrie enjoys being with children, garage sales, gardening, cooking, and campfires.
